Turn information into intelligence when it matters most.

As a Real Time Intelligence Officer, you will provide vital 24‑hour intelligence support. You will research, develop, and share information with key stakeholders to inform decision‑making, while accurately recording intelligence to support future research. You will also undertake open‑source research to assist live incidents and contribute to cross‑border and inter‑agency investigations.

As part of your development, you’ll also have the opportunity to become an accredited Intelligence Researcher by completing the Intelligence Professionalisation Programme, gaining recognised intelligence skills and experience.

 

You’ll be

  • Researching intelligence for incidents and accurately linking this on force systems.
  • A key contact for notifying and recording prison recalls, persons unlawfully at large and breaches of tags.
  • Identifying risk and threat through evaluation of intelligence.

You must have

  • Research experience using several databases including gathering and analysing data.
  • Experience producing high quality and accurate written correspondence.
  • An understanding of how to provide a first-class customer service.
