On Thursday 16 April, we’re hosting a webinar for those considering leaving the military - and ex‑service personnel - who are interested in joining the police.

This online session will give you an insight into the career pathways available within Derbyshire Constabulary and other forces across the UK. The aim is to give you space to ask any questions you may have about policing as a future career, and what the transition can look like for you as a military leaver.

Whether you're considering a role as a police officer, or as a member of police staff - for example in our control room or in custody - this session is for you. The skills you gained in the military are extremely transferable and can be utilised across many of the roles we offer.

Although Derbyshire‑focused, the webinar is open to anyone with a military background, wherever you are based, as much of the content will be relevant nationwide.
