"It's always so rewarding for me to see how you can make a difference to somebody's life."
What a current PCSO has to say about working in Derbyshire
We are currently recruiting PCSOs for roles across Derbyshire, where they will become a key part of community policing and help us provide a stand-out service to the public.
It's a varied and engaging role - one where no two days are the same, and where officers can make a huge difference to the lives of people living in our city, towns and villages.
For PCSO Arizona Armé, being a PCSO gives her the chance to help people, which is something she thrives upon. In this video, she talks us through what attracted her to the role in the first place, what the biggest challenges are for her, and how important it is to be part of the community she serves.
In addition, we are also offering anyone who is considering this exciting opportunity the chance to chat with a PCSO and someone from our HR department. You can learn more about the role, the criteria, how to apply and the benefits of working for Derbyshire Constabulary.
This will be in the form of an Awareness Event being held over Microsoft Teams at 6pm on Tuesday 8 December.
Places are limited and so if you are interested, don’t delay and register your interest.
