Careers website wins gold at National Online Recruitment Awards

"It was a real team effort and the site really gives a great insight into life into the force."

Derbyshire Constabulary's careers website has won gold in the National Online Recruitment Awards.

Launched last year, the site advertises current vacancies as well as highlights different teams we have in force, and showcases what it is like to work for the organisation.

The site won gold in the 'Best Newcomer' category after being designed by That Little Agency, a company based in Bristol that specialises in branding and marketing.

An online ceremony was held this afternoon where the force was announced as the winner. An award will be sent to HR in the post.

Senior Resourcing Manager Tracey Taylor said: "I’m so delighted that the team behind this project have won the ‘Best Newcomer’ category of the National Online Recruitment Awards for our career’s website.

"I would just like to say a massive well done and thank you to everyone involved in building such an amazing candidate experience on our website. It was a real team effort and the site really gives a great insight into life into the force.

"There were some exceptional nominees within the Best Newcomer category, so we thank That Little Agency for the support they gave us to help achieve this title."

Digital Communications Development Manager Ben Sherwin, added: "The development really took the old careers content on our website and made it into a bespoke recruitment portal, with a much more enticing user journey, more information about what it’s like to work for us and dynamic features such as the live jobs feed which the old site couldn’t handle.

"It's great to see it recognised for all it can do to attract potential new starters to come and work for the organisation."
